For Alison Balsom's triumphant debut iTunes Festival appearance, we utilised footage from films we have already made for Alison, and added new original footage, designed multi layer montages and visual effects to create a unique and immersive experience for the live audience at the Roundhouse in London, and the TV audience worldwide.
In order to provide continuity throughout the show, we also utilised Alison's Maker designed 'dot trumpet' logo, with a variety of animated treatments to tie in with the video content.
The bespoke film footage was created for the three video systems employed at the Roundhouse - the 50' wide hero screen, four roll on stage screens, and the 1 pixel wide blade screens. To create coherence in the overall experience we also designed lighting, and worked with the iTunes production team in pre-production and on the day of the performance to direct the show.
iTunes Festival is streamed live and available on demand to a potential audience of half a billion global iTunes account holders.
